They did a fantastic job on my car. Never had a car worth detailing until recently and tried them due to recommendations. I would recommend them to anyone, and they make getting a ride to work/dropping it off as easy as possible. I recommend them to anyone.

Thank you so much Russell for doing such an amazing job. I have a Mercedes CLS 500 that is covered with hard water spots from the sprinkler and small dots from the pine tree . Russell said, my car has the worst condition he has ever seen. I actually felt really bad seeing him work so hard … He works several hours nonstop to bring back the beauty of the car. I’m so thankful and grateful that I found him based on the reviews here. Not only he does an excellent job, awesome price but his personality is also wonderful My new shiny car is in the garage now and I look at it with a big smiley on my face. I read the reviews so decided to give Personal Touch a try. I am so glad I did. My car was in need of cleaning inside and out. They picked up the car at my job that morning and returned by the time my work day ended. The car looks like it did when I first bought it! they did an amazing job inside and out. Shiny chrome wheels and the inside chrome just as shiny. Cleaned headliner and sunroof cover, carpeting, and upholstery. They spent serveral hours on the job and I can’t praise and thank them enough for their work! They are highly recommended by me!!!!!! Thanks again Russell! you guys are the BEST!

When you research things online, you can never be 100% sure you’re going to get what was advertised. With Personal Touch/Russell Simms, you get exactly what is advertised AND more! Russell worked a miracle with our Jeep Liberty, getting the interior cleaner than it has been in a really long time. Russell went above and beyond what any other detailer would have done, we believe — we had some really stubborn stains that would have defeated anyone else, but Russell stuck with it and the result is perfection! I’ll just get straight to the point: Russell is the best detailer in the Houston area. His work is immaculate, he goes out of his way for his customers to an extent that I’ve never seen in any industry, he’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to detailing, he charges less than I would expect for his quality of work, and he’s passionate about what he does. I first met him when I needed someone to correct the terrible work that another detailer had done to my ’09 Audi A4. Honestly since my car was still fairly new, I was just expecting Russell to return it to its previous condition before the other detailer had touched it. Needless to say, when I went to pick it up from Russell after he worked his day-long Zaino magic, I was just floored. My car had never looked that good, and I’m almost embarrassed to admit that that was really the first time I could clearly see the metallic flakes in the paint. The shine was ridiculous; I wish I were able to post it in this review but I have a picture of my hood and windshield that I took the day after Russell detailed it, and the reflection of the clouds in the hood is just as crisp as the reflection in the windshield. Amazing. Russell also took his own pictures of my car after the detail, which shows me that he takes pride in what he does. In my opinion, Sal Zaino himself should be paying Russell for showcasing his products; the results are just that good. I’m not at all surprised that the last two times I’ve been to the tinting place where Russell has set up shop, he was detailing a Ferrari and a Viper ACR. If you’re looking for a detailer, Russell’s definitely the man.

One of our employees left the firm recently and turned in his lease car, a 2008 Saturn. This car was used to travel to construction sites, and I was amazed to see that the inside looked like a chicken coop when it came back to us. To make matters worse (much worse) he was a heavy cigar smoker and the car’s interior was all fabric. I would not have driven this car without a raincoat and an oxygen mask. So this project was more of a restoration than a detailing. Russell picked up the car at our office on a Wednesday and brought it back on Friday (I was not available to receive it on Thursday). The car was immaculate and the odor of cigars was gone. Russell worked a miracle and no doubt we will be using his services again. fwt

Wanted to get my wife’s jet black 328i detailed for Valentine’s Day 2010. Read reviews online and all the “established” places (e.g. had “Bubbles” or Mister” in their name) did not impress me. Personal Touch Professional Auto Detailing had great reviews so I took a chance. Googled the website and read more about Russell and his company at personaltouchdetailer.com. The cars looked great and the website gave very detailed information on both his technique and levels of service. I emailed info@ptdetailing.com for more information and Russell wrote back by the next day. His professionalism and pride in his work was enough for me to book an appointment. Russell takes time with each and every car he’s given, so appointments are necessary. That’s a plus for me since I’d want to know he’s reserving time to work on my vehicle rather than rushing through a long line of cars (and using the same rags all day!). I chose not to have Russell come out to my home (though he’s more than willing to do that) because I wanted to give him optimal working conditions (e.g. ample lighting, access to equipment/materials, etc) so I dropped the car off at 7:30am at X-pert Tint & Alarm in S.W. Houston. Russell kindly drove me to work and as we drove, he gave me some great advice on how to keep my car in great condition after he finished working on it. Around 2:30pm, Russell called to give me a status update. There were a few more deep scratches that he needed to work on more so he gave me the opportunity to say Yay or Nay on the extra time and money. I appreciate him giving me the option and I told him to go ahead with the work. At the end of the work day, Russell sent one of his crew to pick me up from work (thanks Dez!). I returned to X-pert Tint and could see my wife’s sparkling car inside the bay. Russell said he wanted to do one more pass on the car to make it “absolutely perfect” The amount of effort he takes into delivering quality service is amazing. He kindly brought me into the shop where I could watch TV and pop open my laptop to catch up on emails. At 8:00pm, Russell came in and told me he was done. Wow! The car was absolutely pristine. It looked better than when we first got the car. Under the hood, the interior, the wheels, all looked great but best of all was the shine (What a shine! Swirls were nowhere to be seen, even where the light directly hit the black surface.) IMHO- this car was auto show quality. Russell and his professional crew were very nice and led me around the car, allowing me to do a thorough inspection and ask any questions that popped up. I drove away an extremely satisfied customer. After reading this, you probably think I paid a fortune for this level of service. I didn’t. Russell is very fair with his prices, and I’ve seen comparable package prices at the “established” places where they won’t do half of what Russell does. The next day, I took my wife’s car to the Coffee and Cars event in Uptown Park. Though I saw some fantastic cars, shiny from head to toe, I still noticed some swirls in their black paint. I drove away from that event knowing I had the best detail on the lot. But most importantly, my wife absolutely loves her shiny black car! Thanks again Personal Touch Professional Auto Detailing. Russell is an amazing guy with an amazing product. I have a 2009 Lexus IS 250 that he cleaned and detailed for me – all while I was at work! The guys he brought were very nice and did a very detailed job overall. He also instructed me how to maintain the shine from the Zaino products.

Extra ordinary service and professional! Mr. Sims is very thorough and takes the time to complete the job to the client’s satisfaction. It is also very convenient. You schedule a time and Mr. Sims and his crew come out to home or office. I highly recommend contracting this crew if you want an exceptional detail for your vehicle.

Had Russell come out and do a complete Zaino application. This was a full day application and the end results were simply spectacular. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. The car had a mirror finish in the end and I could not stop looking at it!

Recently Bought a M3 and the exterior needed some detailing, so I tried Russell. He did an amazing job and the car looked so good, I didn’t wanna drive it for a while. LoL. He has fair prices and has a passion for his work. Takes his time and makes sure everything is lookin good. I would really recommend him! Might as fact, I might do Zaino detailing by him next month or so.
